I had such a wonderful time with my son Shawn this week! For my Preparation Day we met in Ft Madison and visited the nearby Shemik Forest. It was indescribably beautiful, and smelled so fresh! Shawn and I also had lunch in Burlington on the banks of the Mississippi. It was so refreshing and relaxing. I also love riding in his convertible with the wind blowing through my hair! What a delightful visit!
