It was actually Wednesday, not Thursday, that we traveled the sunlit roads. We were far enough ahead of schedule that we stopped at Winter Quarters near the Iowa border and took a brief tour. We were able to locate the grave sight of Lucy Gunn Morley, Isaac Morley's wife, which overlooks the LDS temple located there. Paul is standing on it.
